fix, another way: in the unity download page. Do not press the Ünity hub" button, but download a file for your operating system , when you start it, it is called "download assistant". this actually works much better!

If you are using Unity Hub to install the Unity then try updating the Unity Hub itself to the latest. Also, do check again your path of installation and permission for that specific location. Also, clarify the exact situation. By the way, when you say it's not installing, you mean actual installation or download?
So i would install it again - then install an app called revo - you can find it on ninite to download... run revo and select unity to uninstall - it will do the standard uninstall process but after will scan the file systems for any remains and allow you to delete them.
Unity Hub is stuck at this screen while installing an editor. I tried waiting and I waited for 3 hours with no progress. I don't think its a hardware problem because my older laptop could run unity no problem. If any of you know how to fix this please help, thank you in advance. Edit: I fixed it it all works now
I've been waiting since last night for Unity to install. There's no "Launch Unity" button, unless it's supposed to be that tiny green circle thing on the upper-left side. I've left my computer on with nyan cat playing in the background, so it wouldn't turn off from inactivity, but, it still didn't download.
Install Unity Hub manually, and install the required version of the unity editor. The automatic installer from the creator companion isn’t all that reliable id say.
