Update: HobbyWing QUICRUN Fusion Mini16 (2in1 FOC system) 42mm if they had a SOC system that was within 37mm I could fit on my vrd with the frontline chassis. Eventually I think someone will make them even more compact.

Quicrun Fusion SE Manual Brake? | RCCrawler Forums
I have the 'new' Hobbywing Quicrun Fusion SE in my SCXIII Basecamp kit, and I have their programming card to change most of the settings available. What I haven't been able to find anywhere is a setting to turn on 'manual' braking-not sure what to call it but simply hitting reverse on the controller to stop the car instead of immediately ...

Hobbywing EZRun A2 for Trx4-M - RCCrawler Forums
So I bought myself a Hobbywing EZRun A2 combo pack, which I thought would be a perfect plug and play replacement. However it appears I was too positive about the outlook. Has anyone done a conversion like this? I bought it because it was smaller than the standard motor and I have a lot of Hobbywing combo's in other RC's.

Hobbywing FOC. Will I regret it? | RCCrawler Forums
Hobbywing has left Castle in the dust when in comes to crawler stuff, and hit them pretty hard in the go-fast world as well. I have a MAX6 in one of my rigs and it's been flawless-- and the MAX6 and the Rocket motor I bought cost less than a Monster X on it's own.

New hobbywing fusion pro elite | Page 6 | RCCrawler Forums
Hobbywing support responded. Suggested I "Try the motor pairing process." which i don't really know what they mean. I stepped through the calibration, which i probably didn't do initially. I switched back to rpm matching mode and I was able to get some effect from the aux wire, but i has to really chop the throttle to get it to free-wheel at all.

Hobbywing 1080 vs fusion pro | RCCrawler Forums
I searched a lot online and it seems that generally people are recommending the fusion pro over the brushed 1080. I am curious because the fusion only has a 40 amp esc but the 1080 is 80 amp Is the brushless that much better with half the amps? Or maybe the fusion is just perfectly teamed up...
